"I contacted Justin about providing music for a Caribbean themed birthday party, and from our first contact I was thoroughly impressed. He was very professional, yet personable and very receptive to my ideas. I loved that he provided a free in-person consultation meeting before hand so we could meet and confer on the music selection. He provided suggestions and accepted my suggestions for what I wanted. He also provided suggestions for the layout of the party space, which proved to be perfect. We had several conversations before the party to discuss the music selection; and I really appreciated that he went out and found some music that was perfect for the occasion. "Justin was the DJ at our wedding and he did a very good job. He was well prepared, very detailed, and a pleasure to work with. He is very creative. I provided him high level ideas for the type of music I wanted for the cocktail hour and without asking he developed a wonderful mix of music based on my ideas and thoughts. I highly recommend him. Where do I start, Justin and my family had such a long relationship that I don't want to leave out one bit of information so that you know exactly what a wonderful DJ / MC you are getting when you hire this man. My son and daughter in law picked Justin after a lot of research for their wedding that was being held at The Grand Island Mansion in Walnut Grove. The prerequisite was the DJ had to LOVE working the Mansion which I guess can be a little challenging for some DJ's to play. So once they found out how much Justin loved playing the Mansion it was full speed ahead. One of the things they wanted was a rendition of their "Love Story" to give their guests an idea of how they met and the road they had traveled to get to where they were on their wedding day. Justin had never done anything like that before but was anxious to do his first one for our son and his soon to be wife. He called them and got their story and then the parents to find out that side of the story...On their Special Day, Justin did an outstanding job and all of the guests were thrilled to have had that insight. Secondly Justin in his own time helped me on the phone and though Face Book Chat to compile a dvd of the kids from birth through their dating and engagement and to attach music to this project. He worked also with the Best Man on this to make sure the final product was amazing ....and it was! We really wanted Justin to join us at the rehearsal at the Mansion and for the rehearsal dinner following ...we thought it would be nice to get his perspective for the wedding as he had been to the Mansion many times and was comfortable and knowledgeable of the proceedings. He along with Debbie one of the Coordinators for the Mansion were most helpful in working together to make this a very easy process, a lot of fun also! At the rehearsal dinner Justin was like family that we had known for many years and we loved having the connection with him as it made all involved very comfortable and I feel it helped make the whole wedding more personal! So the day of the wedding is here and I never worried one bit as Justin knew exactly what the kids wanted and had shared his music time line with our photographer Chris Shepard of Shepard Photography, in Roseville, who has also worked many events at The Grand Island Mansion and who we also recommend highly for your Special Day or occasion. Our Vendors worked hand in hand and so finely tuned due to them all working this venue before that non of us ever had a concern or problem. An event this big and with the pressures that can be associated with weddings can be so exhausting that you do not need to worry about your DJ....and I can promise that your dance floor will never be empty and that the music you planned to have played and the professionalism that you expect will be totally done to your expectations with your hiring of Justin of Sounds To Go, an amazing and very hands on DJ who will put your Special Day or event first and foremost to make sure it is the day and party you always wanted!"

"We hired Justin for our wedding last April. My fiance and I had waited so long to book a DJ and we both felt so lucky to have found Justin. He met up with us and was able to put everything for our wedding together in one meeting! He was so easy to work with and he was 100% reliable. When we arrived at our venue (Granite Bay Golf Club) the night of the wedding Justin came out to greet us and make sure our stress level was under control...which was much appreciated!

Throughout the dinner he played great music...and he kept the party going during the entire reception! The dance floor at our wedding was always packed and we owe it all to Justin! He was able to control the reception without always being on the microphone! He took all of our guest's requests without hesitation and I needed a few extra slow songs to dance with some special guests and Justin accommodated it all perfectly!

Finally, we were on a budget for our wedding and honestly you can't beat Justin's prices! I would recommend Justin at Sounds to Go to anyone having a wedding reception that wants the DJ to be fun, easy to get along with, and amazing at his job!

"Justin was recommended to us when I called another DJ who specialized in much larger events and was outrageously expensive. Justin was quite affordable, so we took a chance on him. We had a small wedding (70 people) so we wanted something intimate. Justin accommodated that and worked with our space at the Sterling Hotel drawing room. He was dependable, flexible and lots of fun! Everybody was on the dance floor from teens to grandparents. He also provided the music for our entire ceremony from the prelude on. He had all of the music that we wanted and then some!!! Many people commented that he did a good job.

We took a chance, but got very lucky! I would definitely recommend him for any event. Class act!"

"Hi! Justin was recommended to us by our wedding planner. We're both full time students and were on a very strict budget for our wedding. "We worked with Sounds To Go at an event last week. Justin (the DJ) was set up well in advance of the start time and instead of just sitting around, he volunteered to help out the host of the party with last minute decorating and food prep. Awesome touch!

Regarding the music, the DJ played current as well as several past hits. The dance floor was packed throughout the entire event and the lighting looked great! Not much more you could ask for. Also, he quickly set up a screen and played a slide show for the host. As soon as the show was over, he disassembled everything and had the dance floor ready to go.

Overall, I would highly recommend this DJ for an event! Good job!!!"
